You will live this chapter of your life only once. Your engagement and wedding will go by so fast, and at the end of it ... you'll be left with how you feel, and the images you have to remember the time.
And that is precisely where I come in.
Preserving your memories through photography is a privilege, honor, and responsibility that I don't take lightly.
Professionally I have a bachelor's degree, more than 12 years of experience documenting weddings across the country, and endless heartfelt reviews from clients I've served since the inception of Ashley Tracy Photography.
Personally - as a wife of 16 years myself (now with two kids, a dog, and a home we're working to make our own) - I want to hold on to as much of your day as we can. I'll be thinking of which slices of time will one day dance on the halls of your home. And I believe that all of the details matter. The people you've chosen to surround yourself with, and the place you've chosen to say "I do," ... it all weaves together to create the story of the two of you right here and now.
It's my life's mission to ensure that story of you is captured naturally. We will blend creative pursuits of art with true-to-life editing and camera angels to know that your future selves will be able to look back proudly on your gallery and say:

Hiring a great wedding planner to assist you through full service coordination, or even day of coordination, can eliminate a lot of potential stress from your plate.
A full service planner will help you determine an overall wedding budget, your aesthetic, and give you bountiful options and expertise that you may have been otherwise unaware of since they do this every day!

Your venue is your day. It's the backdrop for nearly every moment and will set the tone for your memories. It's a huge decision and once you have this locked in, YOU HAVE YOUR DATE!

Once you've either hired your planning team and/or locked in your venue you can decide on which of my collections best serves you for your day.
I offer a wide range of services intended to meet the diverse needs of my couples, and once you have a collection that you think best fits you we can proceed with locking in your date and collection.
We will set up a consult call when booking so that you can easily ask any questions that may be on your mind and we can begin getting to know one another!

If you've chosen to add an engagement session we will set the date for that, and I'll have you start a Pinterest board and add me to it, so that I can get a peek into your wants and inspirations for that session. Once I see your vision I can also help you determine the best location for the engagement session, as well as guide you in wardrobe.
Your engagement photos will be delivered to you via online gallery no later than 4 weeks after our time together!
With a planner, the engagement session will be our only next step as they will take care of communicating everything else to me such as your timeline and family photo shot list for the wedding.
Without a planner, you and I will set up a meeting 6 months before your big day to determine your timeline and shot list.

After your wedding you can expect a sneak peek gallery from me within 24 hours of leaving your reception! These photos are fully downloadable, printable, and shareable.
Your full gallery will be made available to you via online gallery no later than 6 weeks after your big day.
If you choose one of my album options we will create that together for you to enjoy forever, or maybe even for you to give as gifts to your closest family and friends.

A 50% retainer is due at the time of booking, with the remainder due one week before your wedding date. All contracts and invoices are sent online with all major debit and credit cards, as well as bank transfers, being accepted at zero charge to you.

A manicured park
There are several parks, and walking paths, throughout the Midwest that offer well-kept green spaces, often with ponds and wildflower features. These make for great engagement locations!
A stately city scene
Engagement sessions with a city backdrop can have several different feels. If you elect for a more urban engagement you could use a statehouse, a museum, or even a bar, or a rooftop.
Some engagement locations require hiking, and that is welcomed when it's somewhere breathtaking and special to you! The walk and "work" is always worth it.

We’re big believers that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone, your phone will be replaced and images that you can physically hold in your hand will be the best way to remember those precious moments we captured.
Think about this fact: fifteen years ago, if we had delivered you digital images, they would have been on a floppy disk. With the fast updates to technology, you would have no way to access those images today. Even the online galleries we deliver will eventually fade away.
One of the best ways to make your memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents' wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on a coffee table.

After we deliver your gallery, we'll work with you to order prints and design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions).
With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let us know and we’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 1 week before the wedding.
We love your work and want to book. What's the next step?
Galleries typically include anywhere between 700 and 1,000 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images that you can download and print directly from your gallery, or anywhere else.
How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?

We typically add travel fees on to any wedding outside of a 50 mile radius from our home in Columbus, Ohio. Fees vary depending on location and collection so ask us for more details.
When do you charge travel fees?

Within no more than six weeks after your wedding, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
